This workshop is part of GrowthLab, a space to try out new ways to train and facilitate in order to support people's growth. It is a creative laboratory designed to experiment and co-create together. 

LEARN HOW TO USE VISUAL THINKING. Visual Thinking is a tool to involve people, better understand problems and reveal blind spots. Its strength lies in the fact that graphic elements facilitate the understanding of ideas and concepts: Transforming information into images and images into information.

In this workshop we will tackle some ways to use this tool at work, to enable participation and self reflection:

• Communication: How to share complex ideas and concepts and create new ones.
• Decision making and reflection: How to use the power of visual metaphors.
• Help integrating the diversity of visions and reduce misunderstanding.
• Learn how objects or art can be used to think visually.

Miren Lauzirika is the founder of Art for Life, a creative consultancy based in Bilbao, Spain. She works with a single raw material: people's creativity. Building ideas provokes emotions, generates complicity, creates bridges. Art for Life gives voice to that creativity through visual thinking and participatory methodologies in working environments. Because to work is also to create. Miren Lauzirika has worked for more than 10 years with companies that want to be more concious of their creative potential and make better decisions.

To participate you will need your laptop, a reliable internet connection, ideally headphones with a microphone, marker pens and paper.
